Overview
Patients who travel for treatment face two problems before the medical one: finding the right specialist in a country whose language they do not speak, and arranging everything around the visit. The platform gives Georgian patients a directory of Turkish doctors and clinics in their own language, with each doctor’s specialty, clinic and years of experience on the card, a full profile behind it, and a booking action. Online consultations with selected specialists let a patient talk to a doctor before deciding to travel.
Challenges
Hundreds of profiles have to stay accurate
Doctor titles, specialties and clinic affiliations change. The directory needed a structure that clinics could keep current without a developer.
Search must work by specialty, not by name
Patients rarely know a doctor’s name. They know they need an orthopaedic surgeon, so filtering by 65 specialties and by clinic had to be the primary path.
Two languages, one directory
Doctors and clinics publish in Turkish; patients read Georgian. Content had to be presented in the patient’s language throughout.
Trust before travel
A patient deciding to fly abroad needs credentials, experience and a way to talk first. Profiles and online consultations had to carry that weight.
Booking without friction
Every card needed a direct path to a request, on mobile, without an account.
