Frequently asked questions
What time zone does the team work in?
Tbilisi is on GMT+4 all year, which is 2 hours ahead of Central European Summer Time and 3 hours ahead in winter. A 10:00 call in Berlin, Paris or Warsaw is early afternoon for us, so your whole working day overlaps ours.
Is working with a team in Georgia GDPR-compliant?
Yes, with the right setup. Georgia is outside the EU, so we sign a data processing agreement that includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and we host personal data in EU-region cloud infrastructure so it does not need to leave the EU. Wherever possible we work with anonymised or synthetic data.
Do you help with the EU AI Act?
Yes. We classify the risk level of your AI use case, and for systems that need it we build in human oversight, logging and transparency for users, and prepare the technical documentation. For formal legal sign-off we work alongside your legal adviser.
How do contracts and payments work?
We quote in EUR or USD, either as a fixed price per milestone or as a monthly dedicated team. An NDA is signed before any details are shared, and the code and models are handed over to you in full.
Can we meet the team in person?
Yes. We are happy to run the kickoff workshop at your office, or to host you in Tbilisi, which has direct flights from many European cities.
